Turnstiles at McDiarmid Park, St Johnstone FC. Archival Giclée print with a pearl finish, unframed.

Full Description

McDiarmid Park, the home to St Johnstone FC since 1989. Capacity 10,696.

The ground was named after local farmer Bruce McDiarmid who donated 16 acres of land for a new stadium to be built.

Keith Smith’s portfolio includes some of Scotland’s best known and lesser known league football grounds.

Intrigued by the idea of grounds as buildings and structures, as opposed to somewhere full of people, Smith set out to photograph every ground in the Scottish football league.

The photographs capture the eerie beauty and rawness of the architecture of the historical grounds. Still and silent without a fan in sight.

A Norwich City fan, Smith moved from Norwich to Aberdeenshire in 2001.

Lower Block is privileged to offer a a selection of Keith’s photographs as quality prints.

Photographs come as Archival Giclée prints with a pearl finish as standard, guaranteeing quality reproduction, at a range of sizes. All prints come unframed as standard.
