Full Description

Mi Relig(10)n by Camila Faraci is a striking A5 full-colour photo zine exploring football’s spiritual grip on Buenos Aires. Across 56 pages and more than 40 vivid photographs, Faraci documents the city’s deep connection to the game, capturing football not simply as sport, but as religion.

Shot across ten of Buenos Aires’ 75 football clubs – Boca Juniors, River Plate, San Lorenzo, Huracán, Independiente, Racing, Ferro, Atlanta, Plantense and Argentinos Juniors – the series maps the rituals, symbols and devotion embedded in everyday life. Alongside stadiums and supporters, Faraci turns her lens toward the murals and iconography celebrating Argentina’s ultimate football deity: Diego Maradona, El Di10s.

In a nation shaped by uncertainty and instability, football offers sanctuary, identity and collective belief. Mi Relig(10)n is a powerful visual study of passion, worship and the enduring cultural force of football in Argentina’s capital.
