Share

A poignant new Lower Block Edition captures the emotion and atmosphere of Everton’s final match at Goodison Park. Goodison Park 18.05.25 is a photo zine by photographic duo Gisela and Craig Szlatoszlavek, documenting Everton supporters outside the stadium and in the surrounding streets on May 18, 2025—the day the club bid farewell to their home of 133 years.

Published by Lower Block, the zine also forms part of the Goodison Bundle, a limited-edition release in collaboration with creative agency From 12 Yards. The bundle includes the A5 zine featuring 31 colour and black-and-white photographs across 40 pages, alongside an A3 graphic poster print of Goodison Park designed by From 12 Yards. The print folds down to A5 and serves as a stunning visual record of the Grand Old Lady.

Everton’s 2–0 win over Southampton, powered by two first-half goals from Iliman Ndiaye, marked a fitting end to their time at Goodison. Hours before kick-off, the area surrounding the stadium was awash with blue smoke and fans—many without tickets—who came just to be close to the place that had been central to the club’s identity since 1892.

This collector’s bundle is both a visual homage and a lasting keepsake for Evertonians and football fans alike, celebrating one of English football’s most storied grounds in its final act.
