adidas is marking a milestone year with a special release celebrating its 75th anniversary. Instead of simply dropping a single commemorative sneaker, the German sportswear giant is unveiling a full collection featuring some of its most iconic silhouettes including the Samba, Gazelle, and Handball Spezial.
The Samba, a fan-favorite, returns in a classic ‘Core Black’ and ‘Cloud White’ colorway, updated with luxe leather and an all-black sole – a nod to the recent ‘Black Croc’ edition.

Meanwhile, the Gazelle and Handball Spezial bring some vibrant flair to the collection with bright ‘Team College Gold’ and ‘College Royal’ suede colorways. Each shoe in the collection is embossed with a prominent “75” on the left heel, paying homage to the anniversary, and features the date “08.18.24” etched inside the collar.

Adding to the exclusivity, these sneakers come packed in limited edition shoeboxes and include special insoles created specifically for this collection.
For those with an eye for history, while adidas officially became a brand in 1949, its roots trace back to 1924, when it was known as Gebrüder Dassler Schuhfabrik, founded by Adolf ‘Adi’ Dassler and his brother Rudolf. The brand as we know it today was born after the brothers parted ways—Adolf forming Adidas, and Rudolf creating his own rival brand.
While the exact release date for the Adidas ‘75th Anniversary’ collection hasn’t been announced, sneakerheads and brand loyalists alike are eagerly awaiting the drop.
