A Nod to 80s Football Culture
adidas Originals has unveiled the Manchester United Terrace Icons collection, following on from the recent launch of the Manchester United Gazelle Terrace Trainers. This release marks United’s entry into the Terrace Icons series, joining Real Madrid, Bayern Munich, Juventus, and Arsenal, all of whom have received their own vintage-inspired ranges.

The Terrace Icons collection pays homage to the golden era of football fashion – the 1980s – when terrace culture defined stadium style. The capsule includes a full tracksuit, jersey, quarter zip, polo, drill top, and shorts, all crafted with a retro aesthetic. Staying true to Manchester United’s heritage, the collection embraces the club’s iconic red, with standout pieces like the shiny material jersey, featuring an embroidered vintage United badge from the 80s alongside the classic Trefoil logo. This jersey echoes the legendary 1983/84 home shirt, remembered as a timeless classic.
A black tracksuit, adorned with adidas’ signature stripes in red, serves as a versatile staple, combining a slim fit design with stadium flair. In contrast, the drill top opts for a more relaxed, baggy look. Each piece in the collection proudly displays the vintage United badge and Trefoil logo, blending tradition with contemporary fashion.

The Terrace Icons range seamlessly bridges football heritage and modern streetwear. The collection is available now, continuing adidas Originals’ homage to 80s football culture and solidifying Manchester United’s influence beyond the pitch.
