Kappa, the iconic Italian sportswear brand, has unveiled ‘Kappa Authentic,’ a fresh sub-label that fuses its rich football heritage with contemporary streetwear. Drawing inspiration from decades of on-pitch dominance, the new line modernises classic football aesthetics with premium materials, refined construction, and a focus on elevated craftsmanship.

For decades, Kappa has been at the forefront of football culture, crafting some of the most memorable kits in the sport’s history. Now, with Kappa Authentic, the brand steps beyond the pitch to embrace a broader streetwear appeal. This new line takes archival designs and reinvents them with a modern sensibility, offering a range of apparel that blends retro-sport influences with urban fashion.
At the heart of the debut Spring/Summer 2025 collection is a standout Banda set in white, orange, and green—a direct nod to Kappa’s celebrated collaboration with Venezia FC. Alongside this, the collection features a carefully curated selection of t-shirts, hoodies, knitwear, and football shirts, all infused with Kappa’s unmistakable DNA. Accessories complete the offering, reinforcing the brand’s commitment to stylish, functional design.
The campaign for Kappa Authentic was led by creative director Ted Philipakos, known for his work with Venezia FC and Athens Kallithea FC. The visuals, captured by New York-based photographer Ethan White, pay homage to Kappa’s roots, with a backdrop set in Turin, the brand’s birthplace. Locations such as Museo Casa Mollino, Caffè Al Bicerin, and Baratti & Milano provide an atmospheric setting that bridges Kappa’s past and present.










Kappa has long been synonymous with rebellious football culture, and Kappa Authentic continues this tradition while shifting the focus towards craftsmanship and contemporary design. With its iconic repeating Omini logo and retro influences from the ’80s and ’90s, the new collection is a statement of both heritage and modernity.
The Kappa Authentic SS25 collection will be available online March 2025 at kappa.com, marking a bold new chapter for the brand as it continues to redefine the intersection of football and fashion.
